BABY POINT

Baby Point is what happens when you veer north of Bloor-West Village and you're not east enough to be in the Junction. Baby Point is situated on a peninsula of land overlooking the Humber River and is bounded on the east by Jane Street. Stone gates at the intersection of Jane Street and Baby Point Road act as the entrance for the neighbourhood. This neighbourhood was planned around the turn of the century and boasts wider lots than its Bloor-West neighbours to the south. The homes are mostly single-detached, ranging from affordable bungalows up to multi-million dollar vintage homes, with luxury condo’s at the Old Mill. The area winds its way along the east side of the Humber River, where trails are plentiful and the opportunity to picnic is right at your doorstep. This tiny residential neighbourhood, pronounced by locals as "Babby" Point, has a vibrant selection of restaurants and shops along Jane and Annette streets - Queen Margarita being a favourite choice for gourmet style pizza or Campo, for its earthy, snug feel and excellent Spanish/Italian cuisine. The community is walking

distance to Bloor-West shops and the Jane street subway. For those looking to embrace the community completely, there is a Baby Point Club where members who reside in the community can enjoy tennis, fitness classes and lawn bowling.
